WHO WE ARE
We are a group of five first-year master students from Sciences Po Paris. In the context of our Great Transition course, we had to think about an issue in our society that hasn't been fixed with a good solution yet. We thought of the problem of loneliness that is hardly noticeable and affecting more people than we can think of nowadays. After having done some research on this matter, we found that the youngsters and the elderly are the two groups that are the most troubled in this situation. As there are already many initiatives trying to integrate more older people to society and social media groups of young people exchanging on that subject, we had to think of something innovative that will truly focus on uprooting this social phenomenon.
Connect is the perfect solution to free both generations from the loneliness syphon! It is a platform that not only allows you to link up with people undergoing similar struggles but also catalyzes different events happening around you that will fit your interests and preferences!
Connect aims at raising awareness on a normalized societal issue and helps you overcome it all together.
